Right now Nick is working part time at the MTC (Missionary Training Center). He teaches Preach My Gospel to English speaking missionaries, and he loves it. I love to watch how teaching those missionaries lifts him up every day. I love to hear the stories he comes home with. Each new group of missionaries loves Nick and he loves strengthening and helping them! His involvement at the MTC is a blessing for both of us as it strengthens Nick and brightens our lives. Dani, Nick's little sister, and I used to volunteer at the MTC every Saturday at 2:00, but due to changed schedules we don't go together, anymore. Nick loved delivering the news that Dani was the sister and I the wife of their amazing teacher, Brother Bastian. It was always funny to see their reactions.

This is the word Arabic written in Arabic...:)
Studying has become the most common daily activity for my constantly focused husband. His major has been switched back to Economics which takes a lot of his time, and Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic (MESA) is now his minor, (He's still required to go to Jordan next year. Now along with the impossible matrices and mind straining equations Nick is also learning Egyptian Arabic, (A language that commonly uses sounds that we don’t even make in the English language…). Nick doesn’t even listen to the radio on the way to work or school; instead he listens to Arabic language CDs which teach him pronunciation of common Arabic phrases.
