There are three birthday traditions in the Jerry/Kelley Bastian family.
They are:
If it's a girl being celebrated, she wears a tiara and a boa; if it's a boy we're celebrating, he must wear a headdress as his crown! (I'm not sure, but I think the Indian Headdress tradition just started on Monday...)
The second tradition is making chocolate cake with marshmallow frosting. They all LOVE this cake, but making the frosting isn't the easiest thing in the world.
The last tradition is that everyone member in the family eats whatever dinner the birthday person chooses on the night of their birthday. This can be a restaurant or a special home-made meal!
Dani(Wife), Nick, Dani (Sister), and Hanna Judd anticipate the cutting of the chocolate cake with marshmallow frosting!
Nick's mom always gets balloons for the birthday person. She made sure to include a black one to represent Nick's rugged manliness and... toughness. :) Jerry and Dani (Sister) are in the back enjoying their Costa Vida dinners!
