Sam's Visit to Fort Rucker

In July we flew my beautiful sister, Sami, out here to visit for a while! Boy do we love that girl! 

First we opened presents for my birthday! Sam got me a sister Willow Tree figure, (something I LOVE), and Nick got me a video baby monitor which I had wanted since Z was born! :)

Sam watched Eli while I was in the water with Zeke for swimming lessons. She seemed to watch one or both boys a lot on this trip, but I really don't think she seemed to mind. :) 

 We took Sam to an AMAZING place called McClellan's Zoo. This one man has tigers and lions and ligers and monkeys and bears and snakes and crocodiles and a zebra-donkey mix and anything awesome you can think of! You get to be close enough to touch most of these animals, and only about 10 feet away from the dangerous ones! Mike was off doing some heavy work for the animals when we showed up, but when we came he completely dropped what he was doing and gave us a personal tour of the animals. It was unbelievable!

Sam was so BRAVE to let a snake slither on her face! She was awesome! We also got to hold a baby Alligator and Zeke wasn't having it at first, but Sam and Mike helped him to get excited about it. :)

It was so wonderful to have Sam with us for a while! my only regret is that I didn't take more pictures! I'll remember next time! Sami we love, LoVe, LOVE you! You are marvelous.
