Some friends donated a cardboard castle to the Zeke and Eli entertainment cause and it was a great success. The boys played with the castle until they had ripped apart every last piece! This is an AWESOME idea for when they're older and won't rip it apart within days.
Unfortunately, Nick's bike was still broken in November, {...and December and January}, so we were still walking everywhere when the weather got a little colder. We just bundled up a little tighter and closed all the windows to this bike trailer, and that's how the boys and I spent a lot of fall this year.
After realizing that I'm not in very many pictures of Eli and Zeke's young lives I tried to fix that by having Nick take some nice Sunday pictures of the boys and myself.
It didn't go over very well, so I guess I'll stick to being behind the lens...
Naughty-streak-Zeke was OBSESSED with the sink for a little while. It was a phase I thought would never end! The bathroom door had to be locked at all times. Z checked everytime he passed the door to see if we'd forgotten, and on the rare occasion that we did he'd sneak in there, climb up to the sink and nearly flood the room every time!!! Anytime Nick or I used the restroom Z had to wash his hands, going through all the steps. In theory this doesn't sound so bad, but when mommy is in the middle of something it is.
There's a pretty cool park in Dothan called, Wiregrass Memorial Park. There's very little sand and there is a fence around the park so it's a great place to go with two very active little toddlers! We decided to go for family home evening one day and it happened to rain the whole time we were there. Oh well, we had fun.
