Eli might be the sweetest thing to ever happen to this family! He brings out the sweetness of Z, and he brightens up our lives with surprised smiles every time he sees Nick or me.
Eli has just started being able to sit by himself, although he usually slumps over after a bit. ;)
Eli has never been much of a thumb sucker, but he is always chomping on those fists of his! I love it!
When we met his new Doctor at 5 months she asked if he was 2-months old. :) Luckily, he's developmentally right on track for everything physical and mental, so it's just his weight they're not happy about.
He weighs a little over twelve pounds!
Eli and Zeke are absolute best buds, already. Lately it's become a tradition for Zeke to wake Eli up from his morning nap by crawling into the swing with him just to relax for a while. ;) These brothers are both fascinated with each other, and I can't wait for their relationship to develop and grow as they get older!
Through his little life people have always commented that he looks at them like an old soul, or that he looks wise. I suppose I can't see that because I've only ever seen him as my precious little newborn baby, but he does have an awareness when he looks at you that makes you feel like you're having a two-sided conversation. ;)
We love our little stink-bug and we love to see his sweet, peaceful personality become more apparent the older he gets!
