I confess... I'm a Twilight fan and I like it...

For our date night on Friday Nick and I saw New Moon. The special effects were waaaaay better than Twilight. We were very happy that they improved.... but, unfortunately that's the only positive thing I can say about the movie. I kind of left the theater thoroughly disappointed. I understand that they can't make the movie exactly like the books, but I feel like the director put too much of their own stuff in there and altered too many important things which made for a pretty lame experience. :) I think the thing that tipped me over, though, was that they took probably my favorite scene from the books, when Edward tells Bella she'll have to marry him to get changed, and just put it on the end of this movie instead of having Jacob leave the motorcycles with Charlie. I really do love the books, though, and it was fun to be on team Edward while Nick is on team Jacob. I do want to see the movie, again, now that I know what to expect. :)
